Mircea Roman: Interval (excerpt, 2026)

An excerpt from *Interval*, Mircea Roman’s new single-channel video work, developed during his residency at the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam, and shown at IOMO Gallery as part of the duo exhibition *Light as Matter*.

Running 18 minutes in full, the work unfolds through a series of archival found-footage sequences, slowed, looped, and layered until the source material dissolves into something closer to visual duration than image. The excerpt shown here is approximately 4 minutes.
